1. Your profile

This insurance takes over financial risks in legal disputes. It helps you defend your rights without risking falling into debt.

The insurer reimburses costs for almost all legal services:

Lawyer services (including pre-court work: correspondence, consultations, drafting letters for pre-court instances and communication with them).
Court expenses (for example witnesses, experts, translations, examinations).
Other services depending on the selected tariff.

Oral and written consultations by in-house legal specialists of the insurer.
Contract checks (for example employment, rental, vehicle purchase contracts).

Insurance conditions

Only disputes whose root cause appears 3 months after contract conclusion are covered.

Important! Legal insurance is not an unlimited subscription for legal advice on every topic. It works when a conflict already exists or is forming and the client needs to defend their rights. For example: claims from neighbors/landlord, unlawful dismissal, non-performance by the other party when purchasing goods or services.

2. Coverage package

A legal insurance package may include the following options:

📋 Privatrechtsschutz (base) — basic legal protection in everyday life

Covers consumer rights and conflict resolution with private persons, companies, and public authorities (for example tax office). We select only tariffs that include the “Erweiterter Straf-Rechtsschutz” option.

👨🔧 Berufsrechtsschutz (work) — protection in disputes with employer and/or colleagues

Covers workplace conflicts and disputes. Very relevant for many working migrants in Germany.

🏡 Wohnungsrechtsschutz (housing) — protection in housing-related disputes for owned or rented property

Covers legal costs in tenant-landlord and neighbor disputes. Examples: neighbor noise, rent increase, incorrect utility recalculation, eviction, unlawful claims, contract termination, rental contract review.

🚗 Verkehrsrechtsschutz (transport) — legal disputes related to transport

Covers potential legal expenses after accidents, defense against unfounded accusations, unfair fines and other road-related issues. Useful not only for car owners but also for cyclists, pedestrians and public transport users.

Which additional options do you need? * General legal protection for private life (Privatrechtsschutz) is the base. Additional options can be added depending on your needs.

3. Deductible and tariff

This type of insurance includes a deductible (Selbstbeteiligung/SB) — the part paid by the client in case of an insured legal event.

Available deductible options:

150/150 - deductible 150€ when contacting any lawyer.
150/300 - 150€ if the lawyer is selected by insurer recommendation, 300€ if the lawyer is selected independently without insurer assistance. (This option is often cheaper due to agreements between insurer and lawyers.)

If you want a lawyer recommended by the insurer, we can request a list of lawyers with the required specialization in your region.

In legal insurance, you can choose among three tariff lines.

You will receive the exact final price with full offer package by email after full submission. Price depends on multiple factors such as place of residence, professional situation and age.

For example, if the city is smaller, the price can be significantly lower.

The calculations below are approximate and based on Berlin, KOMFORT tariff.

Reminder: filling and sending the form does not oblige you to conclude the contract. If the final price is not suitable, you can decline the request.

4. Payment

Payment options

1. “Automatic debit from bank account”. The insurer debits funds from the specified account once per year. The first debit date is written in the contract — usually around two weeks after contract completion.

2. “Payment by issued invoice”. This option is available for annual payment. You will receive an invoice and pay it yourself within two weeks via online banking or bank branch.

The first invoice usually arrives in about 2 weeks to the address provided in the form. Please make sure your surname is displayed on the mailbox. Inform us if it is not your surname or if you plan to move soon.

You will get access to our electronic application with all insurance contract data. We send login and password together with the policy. You will also receive an email notice when the policy is ready — usually a few days after submission.

If no cancellation request is submitted at least three months before contract end, the contract is automatically extended for the next year. Please notify us in advance if you do not want extension.

The contract is concluded for one year with automatic renewal.

No new policy is automatically sent; the existing one remains valid until you terminate the contract in writing. Cancellation must be submitted 3 months before contract end. Please notify us in advance if you do not want extension.
